Throwing Courses

Wednesday evenings 6pm-8pm at Hope Pottery, Hope House, Mabgate. 

Learn to master the potters wheel!

These 4 week throwing courses are perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to build confidence on the wheel.  Over the weeks you will learn to throw different forms, turn in footrings, attach handles and decorate with colourful slips. You are encouraged to come with ideas of what you would like to make and Niamh can help you bring them to life!

With only 3 wheels per session,  you will benefit from plenty of one-to-one guidance, giving you the time and support to really get a feel for the process. 

After the course your pots will be professionally fired and glazed, ready to collect 6 weeks later.
